How it works
No article publishes without passing five gates. You own every one of them.
CDE produces content in five stages: a topic prioritised by search and AI data, a required brief with an expert in charge, writing with several AI models inside your rules, automatic QA that blocks what fails, and verified publishing with clicks and AI citations measured.
Nothing is a black box. Every decision has an owner, every article has a trail, every result has a number.
The five steps
1
A topic with a reason. You never write on a whim again.
CDE proposes topics from what your audience asks on Google and in AI tools, what your sites already cover and what is still missing — each one with a score and the reason for the score.
You see a queue ordered by priority. Each topic carries five visible factors: demand (search volume), gap (nobody in your network covers it), fit (it makes sense for this site), authority (you have an expert to sign it) and timing (the subject is rising). A topic close to something already published loses points before you spend a cent.
Where they come from: questions with impressions and no page in your Search Console; questions where the AIs cite competitors instead of you; your own articles losing clicks that deserve an update; RSS and sources you choose; whatever your team adds by hand.
- What you decide
- Approve it, change the angle, merge it with another or drop it. In bulk if you want.
Without CDEA spreadsheet of ideas, a monthly brainstorm, writing about the same subject again.
2
A required brief. The AI doesn't write a line without a contract.
Every article starts from a brief with an angle, a keyword, search intent, the expert in charge, allowed sources, planned links and the original contribution the text must bring — with no complete brief, CDE generates no text.
The brief carries the angle and the question the article answers; the primary and secondary keywords, with volume and intent; the type (a pillar, which is the full guide, or a satellite, which is one angle tied to the pillar — a satellite with no pillar does not exist); the expert in charge, which is required; the allowed sources for that topic; the original contribution, meaning what this article says that others don't; and the link plan to the pillar, to siblings in the topic and to the expert's page.
Before it becomes a brief, CDE compares the topic with the whole network: if something too similar already exists, it blocks and offers three angles not yet covered. That is how your network stops competing with itself.
- What you decide
- The brief is yours. Edit it, swap the expert, change the sources. Once approved, it is a contract.
Without CDE"Write an article about X" pasted into a chat — and out comes the same text your competitor pasted.
3
Written with AI. Several models, one rule: yours.
CDE writes the article with the model best suited to the task, picked by quality, cost and latency, using the brief, your site's rules, and your expert's bio and approved quotes — and delivers it in blocks, not as one slab of prose.
It comes out with a direct answer at the top (the passage the AI will cite), a body with definitions, steps, comparisons and tables where they fit, FAQs with real questions from your audience, citations to allowed sources with live links, the expert's byline and a "reviewed by" when required, the internal links from the plan, and markup ready for Google and the AIs.
Your rules apply in every sentence: tone, technical level, audience, banned terms, required disclaimers, call to action and language. Written once, versioned, applied to every generation. Change the rule and the next article already obeys.
- What you decide
- Regenerate one block, swap a quote, rewrite the direct answer. Never start from scratch.
Without CDEOne AI subscription per person, each with their own prompt, nobody with the rules.
4
QA before any human. Nothing reaches your site without a verdict.
Every article goes through nine automatic checks — compliance, plagiarism, fact-checking, authority, SEO, structure for AI, links, markup and style — and only moves on if it passes; what fails comes back with the exact passage and the suggested fix.
The reviewer does not re-read 1,500 words: they see the findings, each with the passage highlighted, the rule broken and a button to apply the fix. Approve, correct or send back — in bulk when the cases are the same.
Risky topics (healthcare, legal, financial) require a qualified reviewer before publishing, and you define which topics and who. An article scoring high, with no warnings and an approved quote, can publish on its own if you turn that policy on — then you only look at the exceptions.
- What you decide
- Which rules are yours, who approves what, and when a human is required.
Without CDE"Give it a read before posting."
5
Publish, verify, measure — and learn for the next topic.
CDE publishes to your site (WordPress, API or webhook), checks at 10 minutes, 24 hours and 7 days whether the article is live, indexed and correctly marked up, and in 30 days shows clicks, position and whether the AIs cited it.
At 10 minutes: the URL responds, the canonical is right, the markup is valid, the author is present and the direct answer is intact. At 24 hours: indexing requested and checked. At 7 days: did it show up in search? Does the AI already cite it for the brief's question? Whatever fails and is automatic, the system fixes; whatever needs a person becomes a task with what to do.
Measurement pulls Search Console and GA4 per site and per article, the questions from your field put to the AIs every month, share of voice per topic and who was cited in your place.
- What you decide
- What worked raises the priority of sibling topics; what aged becomes "update"; the question where the AI did not cite you becomes next week's topic.
Without CDEPublished, hoped, forgot.
Inside QA
The nine checks, and what each does when it fails.
| Check | What it checks | If it fails |
|---|---|---|
| Compliance | Banned terms, required disclaimers, improper promises and sensitive data. | blocks |
| Plagiarism | Similarity with your network and with the web. | blocks |
| Facts | Extracts claims and cross-checks them against the cited sources. | blocks on contradiction; warns when a source is missing |
| Authority | Authorised expert, approved quote present and sources with provenance. | blocks |
| SEO | Keyword in the title, the opening and the URL; meta; length; cannibalisation. | warns, and blocks when it cannibalises |
| Structure for AI | Direct answer, FAQ, definitions, named entities and original contribution. | warns |
| Links | Link plan fulfilled, live URLs and varied anchors. | warns |
| Markup | Valid Article, Person, Organization and FAQPage. | blocks |
| Style | Tone, level and call to action according to your rules. | warns |

| You are… | What you do in CDE | What you stop doing |
|---|---|---|
| An expert (doctor, lawyer, teacher) | Approve your own quotes, review what is in your field in minutes and watch your authority page grow. | Writing from scratch, reviewing whole texts, sending the idea as a voice note. |
| An editor or marketer | Approve topics and briefs, handle the QA exceptions and read the monthly report. | Topic meetings, chasing writers, pasting into WordPress, fixing markup. |
| A manager or partner | See AI citations per topic, cost per article and coverage per expert. | Asking "is this working?" and getting no answer. |
| An agency | Run several clients with their own rules and a report under your brand. | A spreadsheet, WordPress and loose AI, one set per client. |

Limits
What CDE does not do — and why that matters.
It does not publish without an author
If you have nobody to sign, CDE is not for you yet.
It does not invent sources
A claim with no allowed source is flagged; a contradiction is blocked.
It does not generate 500 variations of one topic
Too similar and it blocks — even if you ask.
It does not promise page one
It promises process, a trail and measurement.
FAQ
What people ask about the flow.
Five gates, one trail, zero improvisation. Now with your sites.
The check shows which questions the AI should already be citing you in.
